Greetings!
My name is Justin, and I’m a Senior IT Engineer originally from Southeast Florida. Since 2016, I’ve proudly called the beautiful state of Colorado home. Long before I could legally drive, I spent countless hours in the garage beside my father, who owned a fleet of street rods. While he wrenched on engines, I was busy tinkering with motorized scooters, wiring stereo systems, and building out new iterations of go-karts. Legos were another early obsession—no doubt a key influence on my engineering mindset.
As an adult, my lifelong affinity for the mountains has grown into a deep passion for exploring the outdoors. Living in Colorado has only amplified that spirit. Beyond overlanding, my interests span music (both listening and playing), savoring great coffee, discovering craft breweries, and writing. I also create content for my adventure YouTube channel, SubDivo Overland, where I document my journeys and share insights from the trail. In addition, I co-organize Rocky Mountain Overland, a community where I’ve had the privilege of leading group expeditions for many years.
For me, overland travel isn’t just a hobby—it’s a way of life. My mission is to offer self-guided trips that spark curiosity, foster connection, and deepen your understanding of the diverse landscapes and cultures we encounter. I strive to equip fellow adventurers with the practical tools and essential skills needed to explore remote destinations with confidence and inspiration.
Whether you're just beginning your overland journey or you're a seasoned traveler, I invite you to embrace the spirit of exploration and join me on the expeditions I’ve thoughtfully curated. My hope is that these experiences will leave you with unforgettable memories—and maybe even a few stories worth sharing around the campfire.
